About

I began photographing with a small Braun camera at the age of 10. By the time I was 11 I was using a Leica-flex 35mm SLR on loan by my uncle. He also taught me how to develop black and white film and prints in the dark room. Soon the basement bathroom of my parents home became my dark room. Ever since, I've had a love of photography, capturing those fleeting moments in time, the last remnants of the light to create a memory.

By the time I was 17, I had graduated to a Contax - the Leica had become to valuable any more. I used this for nearly 20 years before making the, at first, reluctant transition to digital photography. I soon purchased a Nikon D70, and now take only digital photographs.
