Heading to the opposite side of this 19th century farm house, I used the same Nikon f2.8 zoom lens to photograph my wife. The lighting was much better on this side as the sun was slightly south west and had a much warmer feel. The depth of field is very noticeable in this photograph. Considering I was using a large zoom lens without a tripod - a good test of my new lens' capabilities - I'm very happy with the results.
