The area of Bavaria that my family came from is separated from Austria by the Inn river. It lies approximately 60 KM west of Salzburg and is made up of several small towns; Simbach, Marktl, Burghausen, Tann, Altoting. This photograph was taken from a cafe in Braunau, Austria looking back across the Inn river towards Simbach am Inn.
