I'm on vacation for the week getting ready for Christmas. So I thought I would try my hand at a different style of portraiture. I wasn't sure what I would get, but I'm pleased with the photographs produced. Lighting was perhaps the most challenging as was the make-up (I did the make-up also). I used diffused lighting (home made setup) to the right at about 45 degress from the model. I combined this with a speed light bounced off the ceiling. I used a black backdrop about 5 feet behind the model. The focal length was 80 mm at f2.8 and 1/25 shutter speed. ISO is 200.
