Moon at Perigee
The moon is 31,000 miles closer to the earth than normal because of the oval nature of its orbit around earth. The next time it is this close will be in the year 2029. This photograph was taken with a 200mm lens, at F/7.1 for 1/160 sec, ISO 200. Evening was a bit foggy, hence detail was distorted due to the atmospheric conditions.
